THOUGHTS About The News.

Previously posted on my Facebook Page.

Reuters: “U.S. brings Russia back to the G20 table as European allies object.” I don’t see anything wrong with Russia in the G20. It is more on the line of global peace over the contrary. Clearly, Europe is still in a timewarp that it still rules the world, as in past centuries. In 1991, as the Cold War supposedly ended, the USSR abolished East Bloc’s Warsaw Pact, the counterpart to the West’s NATO. Good faith.

Of course, NATO didn’t just end, it also expanded to Eastern Europe and cajoled former Warsaw Pact members into its fold. We need to look back in order to understand why there is a war in Ukraine. (The U.S., under Donald Trump, isn't even so hot on NATO. If he could, he’d pull the U.S. out of this costly military alliance.) ☮️☮️☮️

Reuters: “Hungry bears wander into homes, schools, vape shops and other areas across the West.” It is very clear that bears (and deer) are now very visible in residential areas and downtowns because they have lost their habitat to endless building, subdivision, and condominium apartment constructions. Deer are now a regular fixture in our tiny village. And lately, bears have been visiting us. Do we need more concrete structures, really? Tough life for wild animals, indeed. 🐻🐼🐨

BBC: “At least 37 killed and hundreds evacuated after Russian strike on Kyiv warehouse.” Because Volodymyr Zelensky refuses to end this war and so foreign aid keeps on coming (of course, he’s happy with that) he keeps on attacking Russia. So Russia retaliates, with harsher impact each time. What do we expect? Ukraine’s main backer, Europe, actually believes Russia can be defeated. Which is simply idiotic.

Yet the fact is, if this crisis ends and Russia resumes shipping/pipelining oil and natural gas to the EU, the region’s economy will expectedly improve. But they instead insist on wasting taxpayer money on this lost war, and then they blame Donald Trump for their woes. ☮️☮️☮️

USA Today: “Iowa's top Democrats say no to campaigning with Kamala Harris.” Left-wing media should divert their (biased) journalism from Donald Trump to working ways on how to fix the schism in the Democratic Party. Yet it’d seem that they favor what is more popular, which is the dem-soc joint, rather than what works for Blue.

Looking back in history, 2026 isn’t the only year when the Democratic Party was famously divided. In 1860, a bitter split over slavery caused the party to fracture into Northern and Southern factions, running two separate presidential candidates and helping trigger the American Civil War. And in 1948: Southern delegates known as "Dixiecrats" walked out of the DNC to form the Rights Democratic Party in opposition to Harry S. Truman’s civil rights platform.

And in 1968: The Left suffered a broken convention in Chicago amid violent anti-Vietnam War protests and deep internal rifts over the war and civil rights. Lyndon B. Johnson's unpopular military escalation in Vietnam divided the party into anti-war and pro-war (hawkish) factions. 🏛🗽🏛

CNN: “Iran threatens wider war and raises nuclear stakes as U.S. tightens sanctions.” Clearly, the weird, eerie, and self-destructive divide in the U.S. or the Left's loud hate-Trump howl sort of pumps up Iran’s hardliners to keep defying the U.S. or any negotiation to end the crisis. Tehran isn’t really thinking about the welfare of the 93+ million Iranian population, but the hardcore Shia leadership’s grip on its traditional hate for anything Western or American.

Meanwhile, the Left can’t even tell between the pursuit of the end of the war and their loud blaming game that Mr Trump started this war. Anti-war is lost in Blue’s whirlpool of confusion. 🇺🇸☮️🇮🇷
